# Smart Stock Alerts

> Back in stock notifications for BigCommerce stores. A sign-up form appears on every sold-out product (and variant); shoppers leave their email; the app checks inventory on a schedule and emails each shopper the moment the product is back, from the merchant's own domain. Installed from the BigCommerce marketplace; nothing is added to the theme.

Smart Stock Alerts is a BigCommerce marketplace app for merchants. It is not a Shopify app and does not run outside BigCommerce.

## What it does
- Widget on out-of-stock products and variants, styled to the theme; asks for email (optionally name and phone).
- A waiting list per product, with counts, visible in a dashboard inside the BigCommerce control panel.
- Scheduled stock checks: every 6 hours on Standard, hourly on Premium, at hours the merchant chooses, in the store's timezone.
- Restock emails from the merchant's own domain after DNS authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC); otherwise from a shared authenticated address with replies routed to the merchant.
- Tracking per email: sent, opened, clicked, and the order that followed; revenue attributed per product and per customer.
- Editable email templates with product variables, one set per storefront; a test send.
- Multi-storefront: each BigCommerce channel has its own widget, sender, templates, schedule and analytics.
- CSV export of notifications, product performance and customer loyalty.
